Princesses Brianna & Jazlynn

Whimsical Tutus & More

Detroit native Cheryl Lynn Pope, author of The Adventures of Princess Zaria hosted the 3rd Annual Glass Slipper Ball on April 27, 2014.  This event is for K-12 grade Princesses & their families to get dressed up, celebrate, shop, encourage, and honor each other.  Plus you get to meet the Real Princess Zaria, Pope's daughter that inspired her to write the book 6 years ago.  I got a chance to talk to Zaria before the event started and she wanted to make sure she told the attendees that "wearing pretty clothes doesn't make you a princess because even if you don't have them you are still a Princess".
